We are growing older. But do we have to look like?

The process of getting older is not a big problem for most people. But to look older can be much more difficult. They don´t like that the skin loses its elasticity and contour. The face is sagging.

Many people feel younger than their years and therefore cannot find themselves when they look in the mirror. A face lift can turn back the hands of time by several years. Like the ravages of time had been much more gentle.

The most significant traces can be smoothed in a harmonious way, without you losing your mimesis and with it your entire face. This is possible – if done by an expert. Done by a plastic-aesthetic surgeon who knows what he is doing.

Face-Lift

Not everything that is proclaimed to be a face lift is a real face lift

Often the term face lift is used for something that is not the real thing. A surgeon who simply pulls at the skin cannot expect a dynamically mobile result.

When the skin is overstretched the result will be an unnatural mask-like face. The natural mimik is lost and the person will sometimes even be hard to recognize.

A good face lift is an entirely different matter - the SMAS-Lift

An experienced and conscientious surgeon first has to analyze which were the reasons for the changes in the face in each individual case:

• the contour of the face and neck
• the position of the eyebrows and the hairline
• the texture and elasticity of the skin
• the volume of the subcutaneous tissue
• the tension and position of the mimetic muscles
• the dynamic of the facial mimesis

All these factors have a major impact on our face and on what happens to it during our lifetime. So they must not be ignored when the suitable strategy and method for treatment is determined.

A harmonious look, a natural mimesis and a long durability of a face lift depend on the SMAS, which is a layer of muscles and connective tissue which wraps and covers the face and the neck. When this layer is mobilized in a face lift, it is possible to lift and form the face and fix it in the new position.

Like this it is possible to lift up the sagging of the face – a real face lift instead of pulling the skin and hereby tautening it unnaturally. With our method the excessive tugging of the skin can be avoided. This is the most important factor for a natural result, so you will not lose your mimesis and your face.

You want your face to look refreshed and attractive and not operated on. A face can tell a lot. This is ok, but it should not really tell your age or the fact that you had surgery.

Face lift surgery is my second specialty apart from rhinoplasty. A face is an extremely individual matter. Therefore to me, a facial treatment must be planned individually and leads to a very individual result in each case. I modify my surgical technique and adapt it to the requirements of each patient. If done like this a face lift can have an enormous effect.
